There were all kinds of liberation movements going on within the greater “flower power” and “peace” culture. Women’s Lib, Black Power, Liberating the world from war, Liberating human beings from the mentality of being slaves to the military/industrial/corporate overlords, Liberating the earth itself from being raped of its resources by those overlords. Liberating the mind from its boundaries that we were “brainwashed” into as school children, that we were to grow up and become cogs in the wheels of the miliatry/industrial/corporate machine, and this was our lot in life as “productive citizens of society”.
