Was Michael Jacksons Invincible album as good as his other albums?

It didn’t do as well as his other albums for several reasons – he fell out with his record company etc and so, they didn’t advertise it as well as his previous albums. Along with that, they refused to allow him to release the singles he wanted to and in the end I believe You Rock My World was the only single released with a video. Along with that, people were learning to download music by this time. The critics said this was his worst album and that it was too long and the ballads were bland but personally, I think they are what make the album. His style changed with good reason – he couldn’t continue to do dance tracks all his life, right? I believe it’s a seriously underrated album. It’s more personal and intense – when you hear his ballads on this, it’s just him and that voice and it’s incredible. I’ve never heard Don’t Walk Away without tearing up a little. I love this album too.
