Was Steve Jobs tossed from flight for carrying Ninja-throwing stars?
First, the answer apparently is “no,” Apple’s CEO was not prevented from boarding a flight in Japan because he was carrying Ninja-throwing stars, which have five points and can be … dangerous, to say the least. But in the wacky world of the Web, its more fun-loving and less vitriolic side, reports surfaced Tuesday that Steve Jobs had been turned away in July from boarding his private plane at Kansai International Airport, near Osaka, because he had Ninja-throwing stars in his carry-on bag. The account was shared by a Japanese magazine, SPA!. Bloomberg reported Tuesday that SPA!’s version of the story is that Jobs said “he’ll never come back to Japan” because of the incident.
