You can collect all of this information by asking what we call “Custom Questions”. You can easily recreate the questions you ask on your paper application and incorporate them into the Sonicbids online submissions process. An EPK submission will cover the basic contact and press kit information, but for other items in your application, you can ask questions in a variety of ways–including free-text inputs (input box for short answers, text boxes for longer answers), drop-down menus and checkboxes. You can also include your entire Rules & Regulations or Terms & Conditions in a scrolling text box and make it a requirement for the artist to agree in order to submit. We use Custom Questions for songwriting competitions and CD compilations to enable artists to upload their song(s) and lyrics during the submission process.
