I wouldn’t recommend feeding a rat diet to your degus. It’s very high in protein that degus only have an 85% digestive capacity for and doesn’t contain added vitamin C which it is suggested degus need in their diet. I would recommend instead that you switch to the ‘Gerty guinea pig’ diet which is ideal.
