All Polartec® Heat® remotes and batteries are factory-set to a single frequency. You can set your system to a unique frequency to eliminate any other remote from working with your system. Follow Section 9 entitled “Synchronize the Remote” in the Polartec® Heat® manual, (download manual). Make sure your remote and battery are at least 20 feet from the other set when you perform the simple button-pressing procedure. Remote battery life has expired and the lights on my remote don’t work anymore. Your remote is out of batteries and they need to be replaced. The remote control takes 2 CRt2032 Lithium coin cell batteries and should be available for purchase at your local electronics store. Under normal use conditions, the batteries will last more than one season before needing replacement.
