• Yes. We provide three options for data recovery: • User Self-Rescue—Users can rescue their data by updating finger enrollments and/or passwords • Help Desk/Challenge Response—Help desk operators can assist users by securely resetting the authentication mechanism of a device (over the telephone or through an email) when a user cannot authenticate to a device • Data Recovery—Encrypted data can be recovered without the user being present (useful in cases such as security audits); this task can be done only by an administrator • To recover data from a device, you must have installed the Encrypted USB Administrator on the client computer. Additionally, the Encrypted USB client must be installed on the computer where you insert the device to recover data. The policy set to the device must be configured to allow data recovery.
