Were do I go to get headshot photos for acting?
Also, if you have friend’s with good headshots, you could ask them which photographer they used. Phone book searches work but I would at least try to ask around to see who has a good “word of mouth” reputation. Definitely, check on the quality of the photographer’s work before agreeing to anything by looking at their portfolios. The photographer will “own” the photos so, in keeping with the good suggestion of tiffanimalone, only allow photos which are comfortable for you and in good taste. There are plenty of actors out there who have had photos taken early in their careers which they wish had never been taken……So exercise caution. Good luck in your career!
