Slavery did not just BEGIN, then END. Slavery had been in the area of what is now Great Britain for thousands of years. Black slaves AND black freemen BOTH (white slaves and white freemen too) had been in Great Britain in the Ancient Era before the birth of Jesus. Southern England had been mining tin and had a huge tin trade, enticing merchant seamen for many. many years from all over the known world.
