By definition: Yes. During World War I, South African troops (then a part of the British Empire) invaded neighboring German South-West Africa. German settlers were rounded up and sent to concentration camps in Pretoria and later in Pietermaritzburg.

I have no idea about concentration camps used in ww1 though in ww2 they were used by the Nazis in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Rumania, and the Balkans, Though they are by no means a German invention. They were first used in the Boer war in South Africa by the British to hold Dutch and German settlers (Boers) 1899 to 1903. These camps were General Lord Kitcheners invention and over 27,000 Boer women and children died in them. The ww2 German camps were not only used against Jews either untold numbers of the Romani race were also killed in them, especially in the Balkans camps………
