WHAT ACTIVITIES DOES THE SAWTOOTH OFFER?
The Sawtooth National Forest encompasses 2.1 million acres. Recreation opportunities on the Sawtooth are unlimited; including rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hunting, backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, four-wheeling, all types of snow skiing and snow boarding. We host the world famous Sun Valley ski area, as well as several other smaller ski areas. The communities and towns adjacent to the Forest support healthy economies and provide excellent education, employment and shopping opportunities. The College of Southern Idaho is located in Twin Falls.
