What aftercare is needed?
After having treatment, patients wear a special compression garment for seven to 14 days to help minimise bruising and swelling (or one to two days if you’re having a facial treatment). Antibiotics are also usually given to further reduce the risk of infection. You will be given full post treatment written and verbel guidelines. We recommend eating a sensible low fat diet, drinking plenty of water and maintaining a healthy exercise routine afterwards, however it isn’t advisable to take part in any strenuous sports for seven to 10 days or to have an intense massage for four to five weeks.
