What Age Can A Syrian Baby Hamster Eat Solids?
Hamster food (the same as for an adult) should be available for the baby hamster from the start. Hamsters need to be fed a high quality commercial brand hamster pellet or seed mix. Be careful not to overfeed the seed mixture. Supplement with fresh fruit, vegetables, and hay. Avoid raw beans, tomatoes, garlic/onions, sugary food, and junk food.
