What are Alkaline Earth Metals Used for?
Alkaline earth metals are used for many different things. Beryllium is used in x ray machines and nuclear applications, and can be combined with other metals in alloys. Magnesium can be used as a replacement for aluminum. Calcium hydroxide is used in plaster and mortar, and Magnesium hydroxide is used in medicines.
