Answer Hello Steph!! Animal rights activists believe that animal testing is inhumane, inconclusive and extremely senseless. Many people argue that animal testing is vital for humans, for we can find out how certain substances like bleach, shampoo, cosmetics ect. react to do your skin or if ever ingested, as well as what drug can be safe for humans to take for certain ailments one might have. Animal rights do not agree with this considering that every single animal, no matter how “similiar” they may be to the human genetic make up is not exactly the same. In return, making animal testing results inconclusive. Vioxx would be an excellent example of this result. Hundreds of humans have died as well as thousands of animals by taking this drug.
