Moving companies are a great resource for getting your furniture and belongings out as safely as possible, because the workers are paid to be as careful as possible. But some of these companies are no more well-versed in moving valuables than your buddies. When it comes down to it, if you’re looking to save funds, your best bet might be to do the moving with friends, but leave the art and antiques to movers specifically trained in moving them.
