What are buddhist worship called?
In Asia, Buddhist places of worship are called temples (using whatever the local word is for “temple”). In the West, these places are called temples or centers. Buddhist priests are either bhikkhu (a monk) or bhikkhuni (a nun). In addition, each culture has its own word for monks and nuns (for example, “sunim” in Korea).
