If you have already completed your M.Sc in Biotechnology. Then go for PhD in the same instead of doing again M.Sc. in Chemistry. After doing PhD you will be having brilliant chances in abroad for getting Postdoc opportunities. I tell you that there are so many institutes and universities all over the world who are actively engaged in research in the field of Biological Sciences than Chemical Sciences. I tell you that there are more opportunities in biological sciences. In India also after doing PhD in Biol Sc. you can apply in some of the CSIR Institutes and ICMR Institutes for the post of scientists. There are so many research labs in India and abroad. Like IGIB, ICGEB, IICT, CIMAP, IITR, CDRI in India and in abroad almost every university has biotech/biochem related labs. But if you are interested in Chemstry then also completing PhD is a must.
