People come to me with their resumes that are filled with self-bragging basic skills and experiences. This is both unimpressive to the hiring manager and in turn, ineffective for the job seeker – prolonging the process and hurting their chances of finding work. What they should concentrate on is their achievements with respect to their job descriptions to make them stand out from the crowd.
