What are Drop Box and Shared tabs?
Your course was automatically created with a tab labled Drop Box and one labled Shared. The Drop Box tab allows students to post audio/video/pdf files which are then only viewable by the uploading student and by instructors or TAs. The Shared tab allows students to post files which are then viewable by anyone associated with the course. Shared tabs are ideal for student presentations and/or shareable work. You can remove either of these tabs if your course doesn’t require them. You may rename them and they will still serve the same purpose. Finally, you can create additional Drop Box or Shared tabs by following these directions.
