I think a small pillow is nice and you can use pretty material and trims to make it special. I just made one with my granddaughter and she was thrilled. Whatever you choose, keep it simple. The great reward is to see the “finished” project fairly soon so that it will inspire you to continue. DON’T be concerned about mistakes!!! I’m still making them after 50 years. Just ENJOY!
