What are environmental stressors?
If you are speaking of effects on people, here are a few environmental stressors: cigarette smoke, diesel exhaust particles, asbestos, silica, oxidizing atmospheric gases in the lung, ozone, ultraviolet radiation, smog, noise, occupational pollutants (copy machine chemical fumes,etc), and temperature extremes. There are also gender differences in the perception of some environmental stressors. In other words, men and women identify and relate to invironmental stressors differently. If you’re talking about Nature being stressed … then it would be drought, temperature extremes (climate changes), fertilizers and chemicals, natural disasters (like fire, earthquake, flood), water and air polution (man made).
