What are Ergonomics, Sustainability, and Design Management?
Ergonomics concerns the study and design of products that fit and satisfy human physical and psychological needs. Among other things ergonomists make sure that products are not too heavy, too loud, to hard to control or just unpleasing in principle. The study and design of sustainable products and systems is concerned with the physical and aesthetic impact of products on the natural and built environments. Design Management concerns the principles and practices of managing design activities whether one is practicing as an independent consultant or employed as a staff designer in a company.
