What are external sites and how do I book the rooms at external sites?
External sites are rooms that are not on the UBC FoM network and hence the UBC FoM room booker cannot book these rooms. The event coordinator is responsible for contacting the room booker at the external site directly to book the rooms. Event coordinators are encouraged to book the external site rooms prior to requesting the UBC FoM rooms. 8. Who are Intersite room bookers and what is their role? The UBC FoM room bookers are also called Intersite room bookers because they have access to book videoconference rooms across all the UBC FoM sites (i.e. Intersite). When a booking request is received, the request is handled by the UBC FoM room booker at the host site. This simplifies the booking process and event coordination as the event coordinators have only one point of contact for their event.
