What are flu symptoms? What are cold symptoms?

Symptoms of influenza can include coughing, sore throat, achiness, fatigue and FEVER. Usually no runny nose. Colds can include coughing, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose and fatigue. No fever! The fever is the big difference between the two. I work for your friendly local health department. We encourage people to get flu shots every year, especially if you are a child, elderly, or have certain medical conditions that would make you especially susceptible to the flu. I am currently all stuffy and snotty with a cold.
