What are gauge faces made of?
There are 2 basic types of materials used to make gauge faces: stainless steel and polycarbonate. Both are great materials, but they give different results. Stainless steel adds a brilliant luster to your instrument cluster. On the other hand, polycarbonate gauge faces come in a wide array of rich colors to match or accent your vehicle’s finish. You can’t go wrong with either material.
