What are German children taught about Hitler and WW2?
They learn the same things we do. I live in Germany now, and it is a very sensitive subject. Kids are taught about it, but nobody is allowed to joke around about it, and if anyone wears a Nazi shirt or says pro-Nazi things they can actually go to prison. One guy taught his dog to do a Nazi salute and had the dog wearing a shirt with a swastika on it and the guy was fined and told not to do it anymore. The German’s are embarrased about this part of their history. In that area we could learn from them because American’s have a few things in our history to be embarrassed about too.
