What are good Christmas gift ideas Christmas for deployed husband?
I’m sending mine new DVDs that have come out since he left and the rest of the Family Guy series. My husband has asked for some speakers for his Ipod and a video game for his PSP. I’m also thinking of sending dominions or a board game…something that multiple people could get use out of. It is just stuff I would be sending him anyway, but I am going to wrap it and tell him to not open it until Christmas. I’m also going to send a very small tree that is decorated with battery operated lights and a thing of garland. I know he is going to roll his eyes about this and complain of having no space, but I also know that he (and his buddies) will be glad to have them come closer to Christmas time… I’m also going to try to bake his favorite cookies and hope they are still edible when they get there. www.operationshoebox.com has some good care package ideas.
