What are good exercises for strengthening the calves and improving endurance while jogging?
Simply running more will improve your endurance. If your calves are getting tired really quickly you might just need to take a day or two off to let the muscles recover before you run again. You can do some calf raises at home to strengthen your calves. Stand flat footed with your feet shoulder width apart and slowly go onto your tip toes. Then slowly come back down. Do this ten times, rest, then do it again. Do 3 sets of 10. You can hold five or ten pound dumb bells in your hands to make it harder if you want.
