there are definitely tons of ‘good’ classical piano solos out there but frankly it depends on your ability to play it and to play it well. I personally perfer Liszt’s Love Dream and Chopin’s Ballades, both are pretty advanced; Mozart and Beethoven’s Sonatas are good also; for medium levels, Bach’s Inventions aren’t bad. the Sonatas from Haydn and Scences from Childhood from Schumann are both very pleasing to play and to listen to, they are both medium levels. since people were naming concertos….my favorite two by far are Rachmaninoff’s No.2 in C minor and Chopin’s Grande Polonaise Brillante, both requires the mastery control of techiques and knowledge. somebody responded with Hungarian Rhapsody No.2….anyone who could play that probably wouldn’t be reading yahoo asnwers…hey, opus clavicembalisticum is pretty playable too.
