What are good healthy snacks to make for kids?
Not sure how old your kids are but fresh fruit makes a great snack. My granddaughter LOVES grapes and pears. Raisin bread (toasted or not) with cream cheese. Whole grain bread toasted with ricotta cheese (or whipped cottage cheese) and cinnamon. Whole grain bread spread with ripe bananas and made into a sandwich (you can add peanut butter to this). Baked apples (these can be made in the microwave). Grape or cherry tomatoes. Grilled cheese made with good Italian bread and fresh mozzarella cheese and grilled in a pan with a bit of olive oil–you can add tomatoes to this. Hope this helps.
