What are grave liners and burial vaults?
A Burial Park grave liner is a basic concrete box with a lid which is installed for maintenance and safety purposes. The basic grave liner keeps the grave surface from sinking and permits the safe transit of employees, equipment and people over the surface of the grave. Basic grave liners are not protective and do not restrict the entrance of gravesite elements into the space occupied by the remains. Burial vaults are designed to protect the casket and the remains from gravesite elements. Burial vaults may be made of a variety or combination of materials including concrete, stainless steel, copper, bronze, plastic or fiberglass.
