What Are Hemorrhoids – Piles Causes?
Hemorrhoids are caused by too much pressure put on the veins in the rectum forcing blood to stretch and bulge the walls of the veins, sometimes rupturing them. In same cases hemorrhoids develop due to a genetic predisposition to hemorrhoid weakness in the walls of the veins in the anal area. Constipation is one of the most common cause for developing of hemorrhoids. Other causes of hemorrhoids are pregnancy, significant overweight, overeating, heavy lifting, acid/alkaline imbalance, fatigue liver and Vitamin B-6 deficiency. Sitting or standing in one position for long periods of time and lack of exercise can contribute to the development of hemorrhoid. Some of the above mentioned conditions are not directly causing hemorrhoids, like e.g. acid/alkaline imbalance is causing weakness of the veins, and weak veins are more prone to develop hemorrhoids. Vitamin B-6 deficiency may produce fissures and cracking of the corners of the mouth.
