What are instances, and will all dungeons be instanced?
Instances are identical copies of a location in an online game. The thought behind using instances is, that instancing gives a guarantee that a certain location, dungeon, quest mob etc is readily available for everbody, even if a high number of players has a certain quest for that mob/area at the same time. If there were only one location where all those players had to go, there would potentionally be a lot of overcrowding with all it´s disadvantages. To counter that, a new identical copy (instance) will be opened for each group. There are certain disadvantages as well and because of that Bounty Bay Online uses instancing only in certain areas of the game. Important quest areas will most likely be instances, while most other dungeons and places won´t be instanced and you can adventure with more than one group in those areas at the same time and also see and interact with each other.
