Sugar can actually be detrimental for strong bones and a health factor contributing to Osteoporosis. There’s also a list of the vitamins and minerals that can help prevent or combat Osteoporosis such as Vitamins B,C, and D, Calcium, Phosphorous, Iron, Zinc and Selenium to name a few. I thought this was interesting because sugar is rarely associated with brittle bones, just bad for your teeth.
