What are IWU grads doing with their math degrees? Is there a strong need in math education?

Since 2000, we have had math graduates get jobs at the National Security Agency, actuarial firms, secondary schools (both domestic and international), insurance companies, etc. Our alumni employment follows national trends in that mathematics majors mainly find work in areas of business, actuarial science, finance, computing, statistical consulting, and management. There certainly is an incredible need for secondary math teachers, and projections indicate that this need will only increase in the future. The lack of qualified math and science teachers is a national crisis.
