What are limits on dispensing?
Most covered prescription medications are available for up to a 31-day supply at a participating pharmacy, subject to the limits set forth in your Pharmacy Drug Rider. Refills are allowed when 75% of the 31-day period has elapsed. Other limits on dispensing include, but are not limited to the following: • Medications used to promote sleep are limited to 15 units per co-payment • Migraine medications (for example, drugs that are commonly known as triptans (including but not limited to: Amerge, Maxalt, Imitrex, Zomig and Axert) are limited to a quantity of dosage units as needed for the treatment of one episode of care per co-pay.
