What are mattress topper pads and overlays?
Our topper pads and overlays are 2″ thick and are made of a special therapeutic foam memory foam that goes right on top of your mattress. Our pads come in 2″ and 3″ thicknesses. I really prefer putting one of these pads on top of a standard mattress rather then buying a pillow top mattress. Unfortunately, most pillow tops use fairly inexpensive foams and other materials that compress fairly quickly. Then you are stuck – because the pillow top is attached to the bed and now it is compressed. But if you buy a topper like ours instead, you get a high quality cushioning layer – and all in all it will end up costing you less than the pillowtop. And years down the road, if your topper does need to be replaced, you can simply replace the topper with a new one rather than buying a whole new bed.
