What Are Mega Blocks?
Mega Blocks are large plastic building blocks that vaguely resemble Lego Blocks. Instead of locking together these blocks simply stack one on top of each other with the hollow bottom fitting snuggly onto the pegs on top of the blocks. The blocks can be stacked in any orientation reducing frustration for young builders. The pieces in the preschool sets are large and do not pose a choking hazard and are recommended for children up to age 5. Cinderella’s Pumpkin Carriage set comes with 18 building pieces plus a wagon style storage container. The Basics This set comes with 14 standard building pieces and 4 special pieces. There are a total of 8 single peg pieces, 4 pink, 2 yellow and 2 translucent pink with sparkles. The single blocks are 1 1/4″ square and 1 1/2″ high plus another 1/2″ in height from the peg. There are two yellow half thickness rectangles that are 4 pegs long (5″), two half thickness light blue 2 peg rectangles and 2 half thickness light blue 2 peg by 2 peg squares (2 1/2″
