Because of the thorough review of your medical and nutritional history and the information obtained during your phone consultation, the chances of this happening are extremely small. If Dr. Guajardo finds something in your medical records and verbal health history that is questionable, he will advise you of the test(s) needed to approve your surgery. Once those tests are completed, he will review them and contact you to revisit your options based on the results. A complete battery of pre-operative tests will be performed when you arrive in Monterrey the day before your scheduled surgery. These tests are included in the cost of your surgery. In certain cases, Dr. Guajardo might suggest the patient have all pre-operative testing completed prior to traveling to Monterrey for surgery. If this is the case, a pre-determined amount will be deducted from your surgery cost for these tests.
