What are anobots and grey-goo?
Nanobots are theoretical miniature robots that are still many years away from realisation. Grey-goo is a term used to describe a theoretical scenario in which self-replicating nanobots destroy the world by converting any materials they come into contact with into further copies of themselves. Such a scenario is currently only science fiction and some experts doubt whether it would ever be a possibility.
