AFTER ACTION REPORT – RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL CRUISE 2007 *************************************************** Our vacation couldn’t have started out on a better note. We arrived in Tampa a day early, and spent a truly delightful evening with the one and only Welsh Wench. She’s even funnier, wittier, and lovelier in person. It was wonderful to finally meet her face to face. One could not hope to ask for a better friend. The cruise was fantastic! Janelle and I had cruised before with Carnival, on the Celebration in 1996. Our ship this venture, the Carnival Miracle, outclassed Celebration on every front. Huge, spacious, comfortable; everything you could ask for in a luxury ship. It’s the 21st century, folks. We can be posh pyrates. We’d heard damned little real information before we embarked on this journey. But we took it in stride.
