Personalized books are books that are personalized in some way –ie a child or other person is made to be the main character in the story. In addition to the child or adult’s name, these books also include the hometown, names of friends or family, age, and a dedication from the giver at the front of the book. Since children love seeing their names in print, these books are great ways to encourage reading in young people.
