What are pros and cons of steel versus aluminum gutters?
The majority of the gutters we install are 5″ 26 gauge steel that is primed or painted. We purchase our materials from Weather Guard Building Products and their products are guaranteed against cracking, chipping, peeling or blistering for a period of 40 years from the date of installation. Although more colors are offered in aluminum it tends to more easily damaged by hail than steel.
