Public Housing is properties that the City of Chandler Housing and Redevelopment Division own. They consist of apartments or houses with affordable rents within the City of Chandler. Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 is a program where the participant’s rent is subsidized by the City of Chandler Housing and Redevelopment Division with HUD funds. They choose where they want to live from privately owned properties within the City of Chandler. Participants of both programs pay 30% of their income towards their rent.
