Residents are physicians who have earned their medical degrees (MD or DO) and are training to become family doctors. Under the supervision of an attending physician, residents see patients and build their own practice during their three years of family medicine training. Our department considers training the family physicians of tomorrow an important and rewarding part of our mission. When you schedule an appointment at our clinic, we will tell you if your physician is a resident or one of our faculty members.  more
