What are skin undertones?
Skin undertone is your skin’s color “beneath” your outer skin (or epidermis). The undertone is like a color or casting that can be best seen under natural light (e.g., sunlight). Try not to use flourescent or incandescent lighting when determining undertones. There are a number of skin undertones (yellow, neutral, pink, blue, peach, green, etc.) To determine your undertone, take a look at the underside of your forearm: If your veins look more blue, then you most likely have pinkish undertones. If your veins look more green, then you have more yellow or golden undertones.
