What Are Some Causes of Fetal Distress?
Fetal disorder may be caused by many different problems or issues during the labor process. Some of these issues which may create fetal distress may include a prolapsed umbilical cord, the umbilical cord around the neck of the fetus, the umbilical cord flattened against the cervix and the baby’s head, the infant in a breech delivery position, hypoxia, or some other serious situation which affects the vital signs of the fetus.
