Human Resources professionals, above all else, have to have good social skills and know how to satisfy everyone in a company from the highest rung on the ladder to the lowest. They should be smart, resourceful, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. They should have integrity, fair-mindedness, and know how to practice discretion and handle delicate information. Some jobs may require good quantitative skills as well.
