What are some creative tortoise names? :)?
Sheldon, Hardwick, Wallace, Engelburt, Bartholomew, Scooter, Rocky and Fred. My best memory of my Tortoise Fred, whom I had as a child, was seeing him dashing (yes dashing) on tip toes across the back yard with a dandilion in his mouth. He was great, used to chase me and my sister round the sofa and follow us to school. we had a coal fire back then, and he used to back himself into the warm ashes to keep warm through the night, and as soon as he heard us stiring in the morning he’d come crawling out across the fireplace. I loved him to bits.
